Articles of Passage (Terms of Use)

1. The company running the steamer

These terms govern your use of paddlewheelriver.com ("Paddlewheel River", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of paddlewheelriver.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may board the steamer

Paddlewheel River is for passengers aged 19 or over only. By using it you confirm that you are 19 or over.

3. The purser’s coins

Play uses virtual coins issued without charge.
A coin from the purser has no monetary value; it is not money, not credit and not property.
Coins cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes. Nothing is sold in the app.
No prize of any real-world value is offered aboard.
We may alter or reset coins, levels and features at any time.

4. No real-money stakes on any deck

Paddlewheel River does not offer real-money gambling, does not promote it, and links to no gambling operator.

5. Your cabin (the account)

A free account is required for the two worlds beyond the open one. Each person may hold one account; do not share it.
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us immediately if anyone else has used your account.
Your account can be deleted at any time from your account page. Deletion happens at once and is permanent.
We may suspend any account used to disrupt the site, or that we believe is held by someone under 19.
Coins, levels and missions are held by the account, never as your own property, and can be set back to zero.

6. How passengers must behave

You may not try to disrupt the site, turn automated tools on it, offer coins in trade, or let anyone under 19 use it.

7. If the paddlewheel stops: availability and liability

The site is supplied “as is”, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law forbids us to limit, and your statutory rights are not affected.

8. The law that governs these articles

These articles fall under the laws of the Province of Ontario and such federal laws of Canada as apply there.
